GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

The Recreation Therapist will provide the services of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation for students enrolled in Recreation Therapy classes.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited college or university.

Education and experience in a behavioral health-related field.

Experience in a Special Education setting is desired.

Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement is desired.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

Current CTRS certification or eligibility for certification through NCTRC.
