GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Position is responsible for providing ongoing program support for the Office of the Executive Director, Governor's School for Science and Technology, and Human Resources. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with organization-specific programs and software. Proficiency with Google Suite applications is a must.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
- Good knowledge of event planning, marketing strategies, use of social media
- Good listening, communication skills, and public relations skills
- Strong time management and planning skills
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to network and interact with community and business leaders
- Ability to multi-task with several assignments
- Communicate ideas and needs effectively
- Complete tasks in an efficient and effective manner
- Must have good organizational, human relations and communication skills.
Qualifications: High School Diploma (Associate degree in business management or a related discipline is desirable) and considerable progressively responsible experience as a school and administrative assistant or office manager; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that would provide the above-noted knowledge, skill, and ability.
